As part of my graduation project for my Bachelor of Science at the University of Twente, I developed the application ‘Optimood’. Optimood allows you to input all sorts of personal health variables and tries to find patterns and insights in your data. It uses random decision forests as a regressor to predict the mood of the user (somewhere between 1 and 10). The program then calculates the importance of the different features and translates these percentages into advice, such as:

Stress appears to have a very negative effect on your mood. Try to do some mindfulness meditation or go for a walk.
